My latest obsession is Father Ted. A Irish sitcom about priests. It is so funny. So of course, I have to make some bowls with the characters on them.

I assume that you are using under glazes to get that kind of detail….what brand do you use? What about your clear cover glaze, do you use zinc free clear? What cone will you fire to? Can’t wait to see them finished. Please post “after photos”

You assumed correctly, I used Amaco underglaze which have a tolerant firing range from Cone 05 – Cone 10. When dipped or coated with a clear glaze they are dinnerware safe. I use Amaco Cone 5 HF9 Zinc Free Clear to increases the intensity of the underglaze colors.
